Creditors clerk - blackheath

My client, located in Blackheath, is seeking to employ a Creditors clerk to take full ownership, accountability and responsibility for all creditors and cashbook reconciliations and payments nationally

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Matric
• Accounting qualification preferable
• 5 years creditors and accounting experience
• Cash book processing
• Exposure to Syspro preferable
• Valid Drivers Licence

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pay creditors timeously and accurately
• Capture all GRN’s and payments to creditors on a weekly basis
• Review 3 way matching correct and information accurate
• Entertain all supplier queries
• Prepare cheques for payment
• Manage and control petty cash
• Cash book processing related to creditors
• Ensure timeous receipt of all GRN’s from branches on a weekly basis
• Ensure accurate payments made
• Valuation and completeness of creditors
• Reconcile Creditors accounts to creditors statements, purchase orders, supplier invoices and goods received notes.
• Reconciliations and controls
