EQUIPMENT CONTROL MANAGER  - Philippi

My client, a rapidly expanding provider of supply chain equipment and related consulting services, requires a Equipment control manager in CT to take responsibility for the administration and financial control of materials handling equipment.

Job requirements:

Exercise control over equipment movements

Equipment reconciliations of various kinds – physical count to GTrack and SAP

Tracing “missing” equipment

Equipment demand planning

Application of expertise to problem solving

Analyse and interpret management information

Manage a team of 6-10 staff

Meet SLA requirements

Understand client supply chain needs regarding equipment and equipment services

Develop and implement efficiency improvements

Provide excellent service

Assist the Operations Manager in any other tasks

Skills and competencies:

Ability to understand and manage processes, financial literacy, accuracy, planning and organising, problem solving capability, excellent people and communication skills, commercial awareness, high energy, ability to meet deadlines, practical orientation.

Expert user of GTrack, proprietary software system

Supply chain experience

Good knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook

Qualifications

Completed relevant tertiary qualification

Experience

Min 2 years’ experience in inventory management

Min 2 years’ management experience

Min 2 years experience in supply chain

Remuneration

Salary 13 – 16k pm based on experience and qualifications
