Responsible for the management, maintenance, and execution of all financial aspects of the organisation in terms of the Companies Act, IFRS, GAAP, GRAP, PFMA and other legislative requirements and standards, in order to lead the organisation’s activities towards achieving its strategic goals.

Key Performance Areas:

Responsible for the overall financial and accounting practices of the organization that ensures compliance to policies, accuracy and reliability of data/information. Responsible for financial planning linked and aligned to the organisational strategic plan and operational requirements. Guide and manage the timely preparation, submission and publication of financial reports, including statutory Annual Financial Statements as part of the Annual Report. Responsible for the coordination of internal and external audits and handling of all audit findings and reports. Ensure sound application of procurement/Supply Chain Management principles in the organisation. Provide financial advice to Management (including Line Management).

Minimum Requirements for all above positions: A degree or postgraduate degree in a related field; at least 4 – 6 years experience in a similar environment;   with a valid driver’s license; excellent knowledge of the investment and economic environment and be registered with a relevant and recognized professional body if applicable.
