Leader in the automotive manufacturing industry is in search of a qualified and very well experienced Plant Technician to join their team.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following:
Perform corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance work according to Company and Industry standards
Active participation in projects focused on improvements of machinery and processes Adhere to all health, safety and environment standards and ensure that work is carried out in a safe manner at all times To perform the corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance work assigned to him. Participate in projects of construction and improvement of machine and processes. Perform the programming tasks assigned to him. To generate the necessary documentation associated with his work and to participate in the work of training maintenance personnel, sharing acquired knowledge, whenever required to do so. Documented anomalies, make work reports and general status report of the work assigned to him daily. Request the material resources necessary for the correct performance of the plan maintenance. Decides and acts independently in the absence of his superiors in the incidents and repairs of the company machines and installations. All the activities described above will be performed under the Quality, Safety and Environmental standards
Qualification/Skills/Experience Required
N4 Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualification
Trade tested Millwright/Electrician/Technician with PLC, Allen Bradley and Siemens and Robot experience – ESSENTIAL Minimum 5 – 10 years experience within a high production demand automotive manufacturing plant Computer Literacy; Problem solving skills, Teamwork Willing to work rotating shifts and flexible hours
