Our client in the Stellenbosch area is looking for a Quality Manager in The Fruit & FMCG Industries.

Reports to: The General Manager   

Key responsibilities                                                                      

• Managing the whole Fruit Quality Chain
• Managing all Logistical & Fruit handling management
• Client Liaison and Relationship Building through the Retail & FMCG Supply Chain.     
• Business Improvement (Profitability)
• Managing packaging forecasting / - planning.
• Managing Ad Hoc projects in Compliance with Food  Safety Standards                                                                          

Competencies  and Requirements include:

• An exceptional Leader and Communicator
• Goal driven orientated teamplayer – leads by example, and a person who thrives under work- pressure.
• Person with critical thinking abilities and sound decision making abilities.
• Person with a fruit auditing background (fruit production knowledge will count in your favour)
• 360 degree Performance management experience.
• A relevant Degree/Diploma in Quality Management.
• Fully Computer Literate (MS Office).
• Sound Knowledge of the fruit industry.
• 3 -5 years practical Quality Management Experience.
• Excellent Interpersonal and Networking Skills with the ability to build Long Lasting Business Relationships.
• Good work Ethics and Values Orientated Individual.
