Our client in the Stellenbosch area is looking for a Stock Manager in The Fruit & FMCG Industries.

Reporting position: Reports to: The Operations Manager

Competencies Required:

Key responsibilities                                                      

• The effective receiving and managing of all Fruit Stock
• Managing fruit rejections
• Managing the cold storage of fruit.
• Management of all stock related administration.
• Client Liaison and Relationship Building, through the Retail & FMCG Supply Chain
• Managing any Ad Hoc projects in compliance with food safety standards                                                                     

Competencies  and Requirements include:

• A person who thrives under work- pressure.
• Person who works diligently toward the completion of own goals and that of the team.
• Person who relates to all staff members on all levels and who appreciates different point of views. (E.g. exercising self discipline in controlling feelings and being able to retain composure under difficult or provocative conditions).
• A relevant Degree/Diploma in Stock Management.
• Fully Computer Literate (MS Office).
• Sound Knowledge of the fruit industry
• 3 -5 years practical Stock Management Experience.
• Excellent Interpersonal and Networking Skills.
• Good work Ethics and Values Orientated Individual.
