POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:
•Researching and obtaining all relevant base data for new vehicle models and engineering changes.
•Creating a timing plan for all work processes based on defined market introduction dates. •Obtaining master data from EPIS, LIVAS, DESICA, DMU Navigator and MOVE. •Entering new master data for changes. •Checking and specifying the scope of work contents and cost projections. •Arranging for representative vehicle to be available for the development. •Developing repair concepts for the disassembly and re-assembly of aggregates with the responsible specialist departments. •Co-ordinating the development of technical workshop repair information. •Arranging and testing workshop information for practicality and accuracy, using applicable simulation software, incl. validation against prescribed Group document publication standards. •Preparing and arranging for feasibility and suitability tests to be performed in Service Lab. •Signing-off publications for release. •Performing LIVAS validation and check for visibility in ELSAPro.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT SHOULD:
•Have a degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
•Have 3 years experience related to electrical fault finding and development of technical solutions •Have experience / exposure an After Sales Services environment •Exposure to automotive product support issues •Be computer literate - emphasis /experience on MS Office suite, CAD and Desktop Publishing •Be able to communicate at all levels •Be able to read and interpret German Technical drawings and documents •Be able to work under pressure •Be able to think creatively and innovatively •Have problem solving abilities.
Draughtsman experience would be very advantageous
