Job Description

Our client in the Northern Suburbs is actively seeking an experienced HR Manger for their manufacturing business.


* Approve all performance assessments / evaluations of employees 

* Interpret and respond to poor results, excellent results of all assessments together with department manager 

* Manage and apply corrective action where necessary 

* Responsible for the control and procedure(s) followed with employees on probation term 

* Responsible for the training budget 

* Responsible for all external and internal training interventions of the company, 

* Responsible for the annual submission of WSP & ATR – compilation and submission

* Liaise with recruitment agencies regarding permanent vacancies, and arrange interviews 

* Coordinate screening of CV’s and shortlisting of candidates 

* Conduct formal interviews – (1st, 2nd and 3rd round)

* Chairperson of EE committee

* Ensure compliance of all Disciplinary measures and/or sanctions in terms of Schedule 8 of the LRA 

* Ensure adherence of all TS rules and regulations, policies and procedures when addressing discipline in the workplace 

* Attend to “final” disciplinary hearings / counseling meetings 

* Attend to investigations & complaints of misconduct / poor work performance / medical incapacity from time to time

* Responsible to approve and sign off the monthly salaries and wages together with the payroll clerk each month,


* MEIBC (Metal & Engineering Industries Bargaining Council) experience advantageous

* Manufacturing Industry experience required

* 5 -10 + Years’ experience as HR Manager

* HR Degree
