Job Description

Our client, an established law firm based in Paarl is looking for an experienced Litigation Secretary with extensive administrative and clerical experience. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Dictaphone typing

* Typing of general correspondence

* Instructing attorneys on client’s behalf

* Managing the litigation process with attorneys

* Telephonic client liaison

* Consult with clients

* Personal Assistant responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS:

* 10 Years proven experience as a litigation secretary

* Knowledge of constitution, legal terminology, regulations and court system

* Knowledge of MS Office and ability to work with legal technology (court-filing computer systems, transcription software, dictaphone etc.)

* Proficiency in Afrikaans & English

* Outstanding time-management and typing skills

* Ability to multitask and being comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people

* Litigation Secretary certification or diploma advantageous

* GostPractice Software experience advantageous

SALARY:

R15 000 CTC

WORKING HOURS:

Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00
